Don’t need to give today! But get ready for recounts at all levels and likely post-election protection, litigation, ballot curing, and messaging. Today is Election Hero Day. Please take a moment to thank election workers you come into contact with today, tomorrow, and always.

One more day (of voting, that is). To quote funny people on the internet, I am nauseously optimistic. The vibes are good. Friends and family are getting out the vote in battleground states from AZ to PA (I have been to CO-8 numerous times; pro-tip -- adorable 8-year-old helpers lead to a higher contact rate). I haven’t felt energy like this since 2008. Ann Selzer’s Des Moines Register poll in IA may be overly optimistic but there is definitely something happening with women, ie, we are still super mad. In the Dobbs decision, Justice Sam Alito said, “women are not without electoral or political power” and we appear to be rocking that power -- and revenge -- at the ballot box.

I predict Harris will win 292 Electoral College votes, winning the Blue Wall states of PA, MI, and WI, the NE-2 vote, and NV and NC with narrow losses in AZ and GA. I also predict Democrats will win the House, with a D+10 net in the House (losing Marie Glustenkamp Perez in WA-3 but retaining all other incumbents and open seats) and lose the Senate, D-2 (losing MT and WV), and winning one independent (NE).
